Growth strategy
This engagement is for companies that have plateaued or are growing slower than they expected. We start with a two-day diagnostic where we interview the leadership team, review financial statements from the past three years, and analyse your customer acquisition funnel from first touchpoint to closed deal.
From that diagnostic we produce a prioritised list of growth levers. Not twenty suggestions. Usually three to five, ranked by expected revenue impact and the internal effort required. We then build a 90-day execution plan with clear owners, milestones, and weekly check-in calls.
What you get:
- A written diagnostic report (typically 12–18 pages)
- Prioritised growth lever matrix
- 90-day action plan with KPI targets
- Six weekly coaching calls to keep momentum
Typical duration: 10 weeks from kickoff to final review. Pricing starts at £8,500 for companies with annual revenue under £5 million.
Financial health check
Think of this as a thorough MOT for your company's finances. We go beyond the profit-and-loss statement and dig into cash conversion cycles, gross margin by product line, overhead allocation, and pricing elasticity.
The engagement begins with us requesting 24 months of management accounts, bank statements, and your current budget. We spend two weeks analysing the data, then present findings in a half-day workshop with your finance lead and at least one director.
Clients regularly discover that one or two product lines are subsidising the rest of the business, or that payment terms with a key supplier are quietly eroding margin. In one case, a logistics firm found £140,000 of annual savings by renegotiating three contracts we flagged during the review.
What you get:
- Cash flow model with 12-month forward projection
- Margin analysis by product or service line
- Cost-reduction shortlist with estimated savings
- Pricing sensitivity analysis
Duration: four weeks. Pricing from £4,200.
Operational restructuring
When a company grows quickly, the internal structure that worked at £1 million turnover can become a bottleneck at £5 million. We see this pattern often: teams are busy, overtime is rising, but output per head is flat or falling.
We map your current workflows end to end, interview team leads, and time key processes. Then we redesign the structure: reporting lines, decision rights, meeting cadence, and vendor management. The goal is not to cut headcount but to make the same people more productive and less frustrated.
In a recent engagement with a 45-person professional services firm, we reduced internal meeting time by 30% and shortened the project delivery cycle from 14 weeks to 11 without adding staff.
What you get:
- Current-state process maps
- Proposed organisational chart with rationale
- Redesigned meeting and reporting framework
- Implementation support over eight weeks
Duration: 8–12 weeks. Pricing from £11,000 depending on company size.
Leadership coaching
Running a growing company is isolating. Founders and MDs often lack a sounding board who understands both the strategic picture and the day-to-day grind. Our leadership coaching programme pairs you with a senior consultant for fortnightly one-to-one sessions, each lasting 90 minutes.
Sessions are structured but flexible. We use a simple framework: what happened since last time, what is the biggest decision you face right now, and what support do you need to make it well. Between sessions you can reach your coach by email for quick-fire questions.
This is not therapy and it is not motivational speaking. It is practical, commercially focused thinking time with someone who has run businesses and advised dozens of others.
What you get:
- Fortnightly 90-minute sessions (in person or video)
- Between-session email access to your coach
- Quarterly progress review against your own goals
Commitment: six-month minimum. Pricing: £1,800 per month.
Market entry planning
If you are expanding into a new region, launching a new product line, or entering an adjacent sector, we can help you do the homework before you commit budget. We research the target market, identify competitors, estimate addressable demand, and model the unit economics.
The output is a go/no-go recommendation backed by numbers, not guesswork. When we say "go", we include a phased launch plan with realistic timelines and a budget range. When we say "no-go", we explain exactly why and what would need to change for the opportunity to become viable.
A food-manufacturing client used this service before entering the meal-kit subscription market. Our analysis showed that customer acquisition costs in that channel were roughly three times what they had assumed. They adjusted their pricing model before launch and reached profitability five months ahead of their original forecast.
What you get:
- Market sizing and competitor landscape report
- Unit economics model with sensitivity scenarios
- Go/no-go recommendation with supporting evidence
- If go: phased launch plan with budget estimates
Duration: 4–6 weeks. Pricing from £6,500.
How every engagement works
Regardless of which service you choose, we follow the same four-phase approach. It keeps things predictable for you and accountable for us.
Discovery call
A 30-minute phone or video call where you describe the situation and we ask questions. Free, no obligation. By the end we both know whether there is a fit.
Scoping proposal
Within five working days we send a written proposal: objectives, deliverables, timeline, and a fixed fee. No hourly billing surprises.
Delivery
We do the work, with regular check-ins so you are never wondering what is happening. Interim findings are shared as we go, not saved for a big reveal at the end.
Handover and follow-up
Final deliverables are presented in a working session. Four weeks later we schedule a follow-up call to see how implementation is going and answer any new questions.
Ready to talk?
The discovery call is free and takes 30 minutes. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you honestly.
